It’s summer, it’s almost July and that means I will finally be back in the capital again. Berlin Fashion week starts in less than a week and of course there are many shows that I am really looking forward to. I love the fashion scene in Berlin and I am proud that Germany has brought up such unique and creative talents. Probably my favourite designer of all is Dawid Tomaszewski. You can see me wearing his unique designs, his grandiose kois and his one-of-a-kind coats all around the world and I do not only value his designs but especially his crazy, creative mind and his kind soul.
When he first told me that was going to partner up with freistil Rolf Benz, I was beyond excited, especially I was planning to furnish my apartment in Munich at that time. Generally, I love when some of my favourite designers dare to go beyond their own nose and co-design furniture, electronics, suitcases or whatever they feel drawn too. Also, freistil Rolf Benz always appealed to me with their unconventional, liberal and unseen approach of design. So, hearing that the two will partner up let my heart beat faster immediately. As a true interior and design lover and having studied history and art, I was very curious and excited. The freistil armchair 149 captivates with its inimitable shape in and of itself and I always have been loving it. But Dawid’s ‘Iconic Bauhaus Print’ perfects it with his signature style.
I have known the recognizable diamond design from some of my favourite Tomaszewski coats and couldn’t be happier to always have it around when I am at home in Munich now! The chair is the perfect centre piece for my living room and provides that little bit of extra-ness I was still looking for. #freistilRolfBenz #lebfreistil #freistilxdawidtomaszewski #freistilcrossover
