I just returned from Berlin some days ago and it’s been a busy week, but full of fun. My first stop at the Dorothee Schumacher fashion show was, of course, a highlight. The 70ies collection showing long dresses, midi skirts and waistcoats definitely set the trend for the upcoming season. I hope my winners of the prize draw sponsored by MasterCard enjoyed it as much as I did. The next day I attended the shows of Marina Hoermanseder and Dimitri, which were both such dynamic collections showing Marina’s key piece, the famous buckeld belt skirts. At the Dimitri show, the models wore elegant dresses made out of silk and leather predominantly in grey, silver and golden colours – showcasing the „strong and powerful woman”. To round it all off thanks to MasterCard I attended the Gala Fashion Brunch, where I met so many nice people and saw a lot of familiar faces. It is a nice conclusion and a place where you can meet everyone again and just enjoy the food and the nice atmosphere. I always enjoy the special vibe of The Berlin Fashion Week as it is kind of the cornerstone of the upcoming fashion week season. Now I am well prepared and happy to start travelling again!
